Climate change and global warming can be difficult to understand. First off I will give you the definition of each. Global warming is the increase in Earth's average temperature over a long period of time. This could be caused when carbon dioxide (CO2), Greenhouse gases, and other air pollutants collect in the earth's atmosphere.

These gases suck up the sunlight and solar radiation that have reflected on the earth’s surface over time. Climate change is a change in global or regional climate patterns. The understanding of both of these changes go hand in hand and can be confusing. Are These things good or bad for the world? That's what we are talking about this week.

Now that we know what climate change and global warming are, we need to look at the positives and negatives. We all drive cars and use transportation that requires gasoline. This liquid contains hydrocarbons and other carbon atoms that fuels cars and other motorized vehicles. The liquid leaves the car in a gas form into the air causing toxins and pollution to pump into the atmosphere. Like stated above, Over a period of time those toxins are released into the earth's atmosphere causing an increase in the earth's average temperature, which is global warming. This is also climate change because it causes the earth's temperatures to increase

which is a change in climate patterns.

Nonrenewable fuels will not last forever which is why we need to do something to allow them to last as long as possible. We depend on oil so much.

Transporting gods. Getting to a destination, fueling important vehicles, etc. We do have a lot of oil but when it's gone it's gone. There is no renewing this. We need to choose wisely what we use it for. It will also help the earth to not use and depend on gas for everything.

Currently CO2 makes up 0.04% of the atmosphere, but if continued this number will just increase more and more.

Carbon dioxide production and the burning of fossil fuels are also a huge factor in the cause of global warming and climate change. Because of this it has been a big problem in the world. We need to slow down this process as much as possible. If we start to use less gas transportation devices then we could show down the need for oil.

This would help the nonrenewable things to last as long as possible. Because of the warming of the earth and climate patterns major landmarks are being melted such as glaciers. This is important because melting glaciers can contribute to rising sea levels, changing the ecosystem.

Overall climate change and global warming is dangerous for the world. We have to do something to slow down this process. Hopefully in years our processes will change and the numbers of CO2 in the earth atmosphere will decrease. But until then, only time will tell. It is important to educate yourself and others on the harm we are causing on the earth!
